Check how strong your password is and get instant improvement tips.
Most people have a password they have used for years and quietly wonder whether it is actually any good. This checker answers that without ever sending it anywhere — type it in and you get a live score, an estimate of how long a brute-force attack would take, and the specific reasons it is weak so you know what to fix rather than guessing.
Need a strong password?
Generate a 16-character password meeting all criteria — copied to your clipboard instantly.
Type or paste the password into the field. Analysis happens as you type — nothing is sent over the network.
Read the strength score and the time-to-crack estimate directly below it.
Check the criteria checklist: length, uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols, common-password match and repeated runs. Each unmet item is a concrete weakness.
If the result is weak, use the one-click generator to replace it with a strong password, then update it on the site in question.
A long password can still score badly
If your password matches a known common password or a simple pattern like 'Password2024!', length will not save it. Dictionary and pattern attacks try these first, so the checker flags them regardless of how many characters they contain.
'Time to crack' assumes offline attacks
The estimate models an attacker who has stolen a password database and is guessing at full speed — the realistic worst case. Online login attempts are far slower because of rate limits, so a password that survives the offline estimate is comfortably safe online.
Your password never leaves the page
The check runs entirely in JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, logged or compared against an online list — which is exactly why it is safe to test a password you actually use here.
Private by default
Client-side tools never upload your files. Server-side tools delete them immediately after processing.
No account needed
Just upload and go. No email, no password, no account — ever.
Works on any device
Fully browser-based. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile with nothing to install.
The tool scores your password on seven criteria: length (longer is better), presence of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, whether it matches a list of common passwords, and whether it contains repeated character runs. Each criterion met increases the score.
Analyse your password against seven security criteria — length, uppercase, lowercase, numbers, special characters, common password detection, and repeated characters. Get a real-time strength score, time-to-crack estimate, and a one-click strong password generator. Nothing is sent to a server.
